Vani Saraswathi

I am a journalist & human rights advocate.

I started as a reporter at  The Indian Express, Chennai, India.

I landed in Doha, Qatar in 1999, seeking adventure and launched some of its leading periodicals.

I love pursuing and drawing out untold stories, challenging the North-South narrative.

I now wed my two passions: journalism and human rights

I leverage my editorial management skills to help organisations tell their story.

I have opinions – very strong ones – and am not afraid to share it.

I have contributed to publications around the world in print, digital and online.

I sometimes get paid to read, but most often I read to sustain my mind and soul.

It's been a great ride and continues to be so.

I throw my heart and soul into whatever I do – work is play. Which explains both the deep laugh lines and bright silver wisps.

If you have an interesting story you want to be told or a project we could work together on, get in touch.

I don't just work with people, I invest in them, and they in me. Or so I've been told.
